DESCRIPTION
The equipment was designed for separating the fault and impurity contents of short and medium fibre
cotton bales. The equipment can be used for the numerical weight-proportional and percentage
determination of solid impurities in natural fibrous material samples, nops, motes leaf and stalk
fragments in cotton samples. The intensive opening and separating capacity of the equipment enable
the test sample to be separated into components, in a rapid procedure and with no subjective errors.
The disintegration of the sample fed into the equipment takes place articulated feeding claws, split
feeder and opening , blades, using negative-rake fixed opening cylinder , while the selection and
separation are carried out, in mechanical way, by air blast splitter. Each carefully agglomerated
component is to be weighed separately using an analytical balance.
Also used to determine non-fibre content
of synthetic fibres and to open and clean
fibres for further testing. The analyser
uses the carding principle with air
separation of lint and non-lint content.
