Attrifil II - yarn friction tester

The friction is measured in a continuously recorded process by two highly sensitive electronic tensionmeter heads. Pretension (up to 50cN)and testing speed (from 50 mt/min to 300 mt/min) are adjustable. Pre-set pretension, relating tollerance and testing speed (which have an influence on friction value) are continuously verified during the test in order to assure maximum stability and repetitiveness of the results. Automatic testing uo to 999 tests from single bobbin without operator attendance every X meter of yarns or randomly. Exclusive dedicated software (Win OS) for the control of the machine, data processing, statistics elaboration, graphical representation of coefficient of friction and data bank storage. It connection with Auto Cop Changer it can automatically test the coefficient of friction in a lot of bobbins (up to 24). Download the attached leaflet for more information.

Computerised instrument for automatic measuring the friction coefficient of yarns in a wide variaty of yarns and threads. Ideal to select wakes and chemical auxiliaries on quality/cost basis and check the effects on running properties of the yarn (duration/distrubution of wax on the yarn).
